In January, Olympus launched the µ [mju:] 1010.Now we have news of a limited edition version of the µ [mju:] 1020; but it is a very different model and will only be available to 5000 photographers.
Each of the white 10.1 megapixel models comes with three skins designed by Hungarian artist, Matei Apostolescu.
"The opportunity to design these camera skins was an interesting prospect for me. With photography being an exciting art form in its own right and a major component of today’s digital art, I was fascinated by the idea of designing pieces where the 'canvas' would ultimately be an instrument that can be used to create art itself", explains Apostolescu.
The camera also boasts a 7x optical zoom; 2.7 inch HyperCrystal II LCD; 23 scene modes and both Dual Image Stabilisation and Face Detection technology.
There's no price at the moment; and the details don't seem to have reached Olympus in the UK as yet; but we'll keep you posted. Cameras, Digital cameras, Compact cameras, Olympus, 10 megapixels
