A new HTC One M9 variant has leaked dubbed the One M9e, and it's packing specs to rival the other models but should be cheaper.
So far we've seen HTC unveil the One M9 back in March followed by the One M9+ in April. This new handset appeared on Chinese regulatory body TENAA where it was named "M9e".
The M9e is expected to be a more affordable version of the M9+ as it doesn't have a Duo Camera and features a plastic build.
It should come with specs to match the M9+ with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 5.2-inch 2560 x 1440 resolution display, 20-megapixel camera in the rear with 4-megapixel UltraPixel selfie camera in the front, 3GB of RAM and microSD.
The M9e should also feature front-facing BoomSound speakers and a fingerprint reader which make it look like the HTC One M9+.
Since these details have leaked through a regulatory body there was no indication of a release date or pricing. While we expect that plastic shell to mean it'll be more affordable it appeared on a Chinese regulatory body so may not be up for an international release.
