The Oppo R7 has been a while coming as the follow-up to the Oppo R5 and now it's leaked in a clear video.

The video, on Mobile-Dad, allegedly shows off the Oppo R7 with a near bezel-free edging and super slim form.

According to the rumour mill the R7 will be even thinner than the impossibly thin R5 which was just 4.85mm. Also there will be no protruding camera on the R7 making it smooth in front and back. The edging appears to be a metal frame.

That bezel-free edging isn't quite as bezel-free as it appears. Oppo uses curved glass on the edges of the handset which is able to refract light on the sides to give the effect of masking the bezels. Either way the end result appears to be a stunning smartphone.

Other rumours suggest the specs on the R7 include a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor and a 20.7-megapixel camera.

Details on pricing and release date have not leaked but judging from how finished the handset looks in the video we'd expect Oppo to announces the R7 soon.
