Apple took the opportunity to announce its new range of MacBooks at its Spring forward event where the Apple Watch was launched today.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro for 2015 has been upgraded to include the latest Force Touch trackpad that is launching on the new MacBook.

This trackpad is now pressure sensitive meaning a person can press harder or softer to affect apps in different ways. For example fast forwarding a video can be done faster and slower depending on how hard the trackpad is being pressed - Apple calls this Force Click. The new trackpad also offers haptic feedback so small vibrations can let you know what effect your touches are having.

The new MacBook Pro 2015 also features fifth generation Intel Core processors up to 3.1GHz and Intel Iris Graphics 6100, two times faster flash at 1.6Gbps and longer battery life with up to 10-hours on a charge.

The new 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Airs for 2015 have had upgraded flash memory that is now twice as fast as the previous generation. The new Air features fifth generation Intel Core processors with up to 2.2GHz, Intel HD Graphics 6000, and Thunderbolt 2 connectivity for double the bandwidth at 20Gbps.

The Apple MacBook Pro 2015 starts at £1400 and the MacBook Air 2015 starts at £750.
