For a brief moment, you could've streamed House of Cards' upcoming third season on Netflix.

The streaming service previously announced that season three would premiere on 27 February, but it looks like someone behind the scenes messed up and unleashed all 13 episodes. Netflix promptly realised the accident and pulled everything within minutes, though not before the internet had the chance to copy summaries for the episodes.

We won't spoil anything for you, but a quick Google search will get you the summaries. Netflix has already released a statement (via CNBC) to confirm that the episodes leaked due to a "bug in the system". House of Cards' official Twitter account also tweeted the following: "This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27."

House of Cards is a political drama television series starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. It's actually an adaptation of the BBC's mini-series of the same name. The show has been nominated and won several awards for the first two seasons, and it most recently won a 2015 Golden Globe for Best Actor (given to Spacey).
