The Tangent Quattro internet radio has been well received since its launch, picking up at least one award. It's now received a revamp, hence the "Mk2" tag that should make it more attractive to those who have been tempted.

Offering FM Radio in addition to internet stations, a new Ethernet RJ45 port in addition to Wi-Fi connectivity and with a new WPA2 Wi-Fi security protocol added, you get more for your money.

So, what do you get? How about 9900 plus internet radio stations, the ability to stream music from PCs and Macs, BBC Radio On Demand, easy access to internet podcasts and now local and national stations on FM?

Tech-spec-wise there's that stylish Danish "retro" design in four colours, powerful 3-inch drive unit, 5 watts RMS amplifier, stereo headphone socket, stereo line-out and inputs for MP3 players, etc.

The alphabetical search for stations, as well as the ability to search by country or genre on the backlit two-line LCD display means that exploring the world of Wi-Fi radio should not be too much of a challenge.

Walnut and black finished models cost £179.95, while the high gloss red and white are more at £199.99. All available now.
