After releasing an update to its Calendar app, Google has updated the Gmail for Android app with a reworked design and other interface changes. But more importantly, the app now supports all email providers.

Going back to design changes, first new thing is - and what Google described as - a "convenient" reply button at the bottom of every message. Such a button will make it easier to converse while on the go. Another change, which is accessible only from the Android mobile app, lets you quickly switch between accounts and different inbox categories.

The third and final change is a major one: the updated Gmail app now supports all email providers, meaning you can setup and use a separate inbox for Yahoo Mail or Outlook.com, etc. Support works for all email addresses using POP/IMAP.

You can download the new Gmail app for Android from the Play Store over the next few days. It will work on all Android 4.0+ devices.
