So what's wrong with wanting a laptop just because it's pink and flowery?

The new Vaio Graphic Splash Expressions Collection from Sony not only has pretty patterns on the cover, but also offers a variety of customisable options.

On the cover - you can choose from options including Flora, Leaf and Victorian Lace in either black, blue or pink.

You can also opt to have your machine engraved for free.

And, finally, Vaio fans can choose the font of the keyboard lettering from standard, bradley hand, copperplate, and synchro.

The entry level configuration includes Penryn Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD, 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display with Sony’s own XBRITE technology, Windows Vista OS, wireless and Bluetooth, all for $1279.

Production is limited to 1200 units of VAIO FZ Series notebooks only.
