Although Android 5.0 Lollipop isn't even publicly available yet for consumers, its Easter egg has been found by a developer.
Google has always hidden mini features or gags in each version of Android, and these treats are often referred to as Easter eggs. Google announced Android 5.0 Lollipop earlier this week and said the software would arrive for devices soon, but one guy has accessed the developer preview and already spotted an Easter egg in the yet-to-be-released mobile OS update.
The Easter egg is quite similar to the fad game Flappy Bird as well as the classic 8-bit game Marios Bros. More specifically, it features a little Android robot navigating around lollipops. As the robot jumps up and down between lollipops, narrowly avoiding them as if they were the green pipes, one cannot help but also think of Flappy Bird, in which a user must tap the screen to move a bird around obstacles.
A YouTube account under the name Sam Nalty published a video of the Easter egg and showed how to access it through Settings. That said, it's unclear if this hidden feature will make it to the final version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
