Why use a knife when you can use a gadget. That seems to be the principle behind the Robot Coupe Bread Slicer.

Rather than requiring you to pick up a knife and a bread board, the massively oversized gadget will evenly slice the pieces for you once you pop in a French loaf.

If you're sold on the idea of a simple knife slicing free life then you'll be happy to pay the $2,750 price tag no doubt.
