Panasonic add SD ripping feature to SC-PM71SD Micro System

Panasonic has launched a new Micro System Hi-Fi that will allow you to transfer music directly from a CD, cassette or radio directly to an SD Card.

The company, seeing the increase it SD card use in mobile phones and other devices has created the SC-PM71SD.

The system rips songs in the AAC format and offers 4x recording speeds from CD to SD and while you can't record back the other way you can listen to SD cards via the system.

The 2x80 Watt Micro System boasts a Hybrid Bi-Amp and 3-Way, 3-Speakers with Bass Reflex.

Users will be able to playback CD, CD-R/RW, HighMAT (level 1), WMA, MP3 and HDCD.

Panasonic is yet to set a price for the Hi-Fi unit.
