Cat S50 rugged phone wants you to stamp on its face

Just how clumsy are you? If the answer is very, then you'll probably be wanting to take a closer look at the latest Android smartphone from Cat.

The Cat S50 rugged smartphone is the company's new flagship, designed for outdoor sports peeps and construction workers, and comes encased in a shock absorbent rubber shell.

As you would expect from a tough phone, the S50 promises to be scratch-resistant (Corning Gorilla Glass 3), rustproof, and waterproof. It can work with wet fingers too.

Sporting a 4.7-inch screen it is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and runs the latest version of Android 4.4 Kitkat.

There's 4G connectivity making it perfect for watching those viral videos during their lunch break and the phone also features an 8-megapixel camera. Internal storage is just 8GB but a microSD card slot lets you expand that by a further 64GB.

The phone is expected to cost around £480 when it comes out in the next couple of weeks. Just make sure you have big pockets to fit it in, the device doesn't look small.
