Logitech Bluetooth keyboard dock lets you easily switch from tablet, to smartphone to PC
Logitech has announced a new Bluetooth keyboard dock designed to support users of multiple devices.
The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 allows you to connect up to three devices via Bluetooth and lets you switch between them using a dial.
The idea is to allow you to be able, for example, to use the keyboard to reply to WhatsApp messages on your smartphone then use the Easy-Switch dial to move back to your tablet to tackle your emails.
This isn't the first time that Logitech have used the Easy-Switch approach, previously offering a desktop keyboard along the same lines. The new keyboard, however, gives you space to dock your smartphone or tablet for easy working.
"Typing needs have evolved and consumers are computing and texting across multiple screens, often using two or three different operating systems," said Charlotte Johs, global VP of computer peripherals, Logitech.
"The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 makes it simple for people to work, create or communicate quickly and comfortably, no matter what computing device or platform they are using."
The Logitech K480 keyboard will be available in the US and Europe from September 2014, for a price of £49.99.
