Sing your way to enlightenment - and maybe fame too

Long before DAB radio and services such as Shazam, you often had to pluck up the courage to walk up to the counter in HMV and sing to the sales assistant in a desperate effort to find that song you'd heard and taken a fancy to.

This site applies basically the same principles, it's just you won't have to endure the sniggers and incredulous looks from the painfully cool teenager behind the counter, because there isn't one.

What there is, in addition to the musical search engine, is a community of musical people, some with enormous talent, many with nothing but stacks of enthusiasm. So you could discover the next big thing, or even be discovered yourself.

Think of it as karaoke for the Facebook generation with a splash of Google thrown in.
