Hyundai gets stunt drivers to dive out of moving cars to show them self-driving

We've heard of cars driving themselves in convoys, but never seen it looking so cool. Hyundai has got a bunch of daredevils to dive from moving cars onto a truck bed, while the cars carry on driving.

The best bit isn't just the Hyundai Advanced Smart Cruise Control, which is able to go around corners and maintain speed with other cars, it's the braking. The last stunt driver is so confident he stays, blind-folded with arms crossed, in the front seat as the lead truck makes an emergency stop. Impressive stuff.

Smart cruise control is being tested by lots of car manufacturers right now. Ford already has its smart braking system in place and Volvo tested a smart convey with drivers last year. So we're hoping to see this technology on the roads soon as cars ease into self-driving bit by bit.
