Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 leaks with Qualcomm’s first 64-bit processor and 4.7-megapixel selfie camera

Samsung will be releasing a Galaxy Mega 2 if these leaked specs are anything to go by – which they are. This will be the first 64-bit processor from Qualcomm making this phone Android L ready.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 was leaked on the GFXBench database under the name: "3D Graphics Performance of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 (SM-G7508)". Not much room for confusion there then.

Specs appear pretty average apart from that 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-bit processor with Adreno 306 GPU. Also it will feature a 4.7-megapixel front facing camera for high-resolution selfies that can also shoot video in full 1080p.

Other specs include a smaller than its predecessor, but still massive, 5.9-inch screen with 720 x 1280 resolution. There should be 2GB of RAM and 8GB storage onboard. The benchmark shows a 12-megapixel camera though this is likely the 4:3 mode and it's capable of 16-megapixles like the S5 camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is yet to be announced but thanks to that 64-bit chip it's expected to appear later in the year when the Android L OS is released.
