I've always been envious of people with beautiful handwriting. Mine's so bad my mother said I should've been a doctor...But perhaps now I don't have to feel so bad.
Like so many people, especially us here at Pocket-lint who have calluses on our fingertips from bashing away relentlessly at our keyboards in order to bring you all the very best gadget and technology news, I don't often actually pick up a pen to write anything any more.
So this site is perfect for me. By scanning in a template containing examples of my handwriting, they created a TrueType font for me to use in all my software apps.
Seriously cool, eh? And it works too.
OK, so it's not perfect (kerning and tracking a font properly takes hours and real skill), but it looks pretty damn good to the layman. And for less than a fiver it's got be worth doing.
Now if they'll just hurry up and invent a "joined-up-writing-ifier.com" I'll finally be able to consign my trusty old Parker pen to the bottom drawer.
