Nike has launched the Nike+ FuelBand app for Android.
For the first time, Android users and athletes have the ability to connect their Nike+ FuelBand SE with one of a few select Android devices. The company said NikeFuel is now used by 30 million users and quickly becoming the "universal measure of activity".
In an attempt to continue that growth, it made sense for Nike to finally launch the Nike+ FuelBand app for Android. The Nike+ FuelBand SE measures your everyday activity, from workouts to walking around all day. The wearable is designed to track your active life - and now it'll sync all that cropped data to an Android handset. Your handset's operating system must support Bluetooth LE and Nike+ FuelBand SE however.
A few features within the Nike+ FuelBand app for Android include the ability to create and edit a goal, track and review deliberate periods of movement like workouts, set up reminders to get moving every hour, compare data with friends within the NikeFuel community, analyse past activity patterns, sync Nike+ FuelBand data to a compatible Android handset, and view and edit Nike+ account information and FuelBand device settings.
