Just yesterday Ricoh unveiled the R8 digital compact to journos in London.Today, the company has followed up with the announcement of the £149.99 R50 digital compact.
This latest model features a 10 megapixel CCD like the R8 and a 5x optical zoom.
It is 97.3(W)x 56.3(H) x 23.4(D)mm.
Worth a mention are the camera's 15 scene functions including a sports function, a cosmetic function which enhances the skin tone of a subject and the still image with audio function that lets the user add a voice memo to the shot.
There is also a sequential shots mode; and a video recording mode.
The Japanese manufacturer adds that both the R8 and R50 are the first from Ricoh to drop the Caplio brand name. Cameras, Digital cameras, Compact cameras, Ricoh
