This quadcopter is made from chocolate, yes it is edible

Food combined with technology is the future we want to see. So when a chocolate quadcopter appeared on YouTube we were excited.

The four bladed flying foodstuff was made by quadcopter builder Michael Niedermayr and his girlfriend who is a keen cook.

The structure of the quadcopter was made by melting chocolate and pouring it into moulds. Then the mechanical parts were added. The entire recipe can be found on YouTube, in case you fancied flying one of these fancies into a face of your friend's.

The chocolate was normal, over-the-counter stuff, but didn't melt while in flight. Well, not for the length of the video anyway. And after the flight was complete it was still good enough to eat. We're off to the kitchen, via the shed, to get started on our own to serve desert with.
