Vodafone has announced it is launching a partnership deal with Netflix to offer free subscriptions to its users.
The deal will offer six months free Netflix to Vodafone Red 4G customers in the UK. They can then stream Netflix video over Wi-Fi or 4G wherever they go using their mobile, tablet or other device. The 4G data won't be free.
Netflix is usually priced from £5.99 per month. This promotional deal, starting in July will give away six months free for a saving of £35.94. Vodafone also currently offers Spotify and Sky Sports package options as part of its Red 4G contract.
The basic Vodafone Red 4G contract with 3GB of data per month starts from £30 per month. This 24 month contract includes a free 4G Sony Xperia E1 handset.
Vodafone 4G is now available in 233 cities and towns across the UK as well as smaller communities. Vodafone plans to provide indoor and outdoor coverage using 2G, 3G and 4G services to 98 per cent of the UK by the end of 2015.
