Motorola sends invites for new smartphone launch on 13 May, possibly Moto E
Motorola has sent invites to the launch of its next smartphone. The event will take place on 13 May in London.
"Connect more people to the world's information and each other, and they can do great things," announced Motorola via its invite. "Introducing the next smartphone from Motorola to make these connections happen. Made to last. Priced for all."
The company didn't provide any other details, but rumours have claimed Motorola will allegedly replace the Moto G later this month with a new device called the Moto E. It supposedly features a 4.3-inch screen, 1.2GHz dual-core chip, 4GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, and 1,900mAh battery.
More interestingly, reports have claimed the Moto E will sport dual SIM capabilities and a digital TV tuner. It'll also launch with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed. As for pricing and availability, it is expected to cost less than the existing Moto G and could launch in the UK.
We've contacted Motorola for more details on the London event and will update when or if that information becomes available.
