Danny Boyle and Leonardo DiCaprio to make Steve jobs movie with 'The Social Network' creators?

It looks Aaron Sorkin's attempt at a Steve Jobs movie could have a director and lead actor onboard.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Danny Boyle, of Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours fame, is in talks to direct the biopic. Boyle is said to have approached Leonardo DiCaprio to star. The two worked together on The Beach back in 2000.

David Fincher was supposed to direct the movie, with Christian Bale wanted to star. But after a fight over fees he's now off the project.

The film will be written by The Social Network's writer Aaron Sorkin and producer Scott Rudin. David Fincher also worked on the Social Network, as director, which is why he was wanted for the project this time around.

This version of the film will be based on the Steve Jobs biography written by Walter Isaacson. After the poorly received attempt in "Jobs", starring Ashton Kutcher, this film will have a lot of pressure on it to impress and tell the Jobs story from a fresh perspective.
