Sony Europe’s IT Peripherals division has announced the launch of five new headsets to its range, featuring colour variations of black and silver and black and metallic orange.

The new products include two headband PC headsets DR-220DPS and DR-220DPTM, two headband headsets with in-line volume control DR-220DPVS and DR-220DPVTM, and a USB model DR-260USBS.

The headsets support a range of applications from listening to music to online multi-player gaming sessions, as well as hands-free capability for internet chat and VoIP calls such as MSN Messenger and Skype.

Sony says each headset is designed for clear voice and sound transmission with a fully adjustable rotating flexible boom microphone complete with Sony noise-cancelling technology.

The headsets also include Sony Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuits and a Silent Cap Design for reduced sound leakage.

Estimated street pricing is as follows: DR-220DPS/TM - €24.99, DR-220DPVS/TM - €29.99, DR-G250DP - €39.99, DR-260USBS - €59.99, DR-115DP - €21.99 and DR-EX230DP - €44.99.
