Watch free Coachella Festival live-streams on YouTube, starting 11 April with Ellie Goulding
If you wanted to attend Coachella in the US but couldn't afford one of the $345 general admission tickets before they all sold out, don't fret. YouTube and T-Mobile have you covered.
Google and T-Mobile announced today that Coachella's YouTube channel will live-stream festival shows between 11 April and 13 April. Artists playing at Coachella will also randomly jump into your Google+ Hangout if you happen to be holding one at the right time. There's a schedule of meet-and-greets and live shows available on the channel.
Coachella, also known as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, is an annual two-weekend, three-day music event held at the Empire Polo Club in California. It was founded in 1999 and features many genres of music ranging from rock and indie to hip hop and electronic. This year's lineup includes Pharrell, Lorde, Skrillex, Lana Del Rey, and others.
The live stream kicks off tonight at 6 PM EST. If you tune in around 8:40 PM PST, you will see Ellie Goulding's concert performance. And it's absolutely free to watch and listen. Pretty cool, right?
