Logitech lights up the lounge with Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard
Logitech wants to make the connect TV experience easier to navigate, so it's introduced the Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard K830.
This wireless keyboard should make searching a smart TV or navigating the web easier than using a remote. The keyboard lights up so it can be used even in a dark lounge. The K830 is smart enough to adapt brightness to the level of light in the room. Also it'll automatically turn the light on when a user starts typing, and off when they're done - for ease of use and power saving.
To avoid the need for more than one device a multi-touch trackpad is built into the keyboard for mouse and touch controls from the sofa.
The keyboard is connected via 2.4Hz Wi-Fi and offers a 10-day battery life before a charge via micro-USB, says Logitech. This doesn't only work with a TV of course as it's compatible with computers making it ideal for multi-tasking between devices. Thanks to the 33-foot range it should work fine even in larger rooms.
The Logitech Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard K830 is available in Europe from April for £90.
