Twitter now allows photo tagging of up to 10 people, doesn't affect 140 character limit
Twitter has just announced a big change to the way it handles photos on mobile.
You can now tag up to 10 people in a photo through the iOS and Android apps, and tagging doesn't affect character count in a tweet. Essentially, this is acting like Facebook tagging - if you’re the one being tagged, you’ll get a notification.
You can also share up to four photos in a single tweet, rather than using a separate app to make a collage like in the past.
Just tap on a preview to get the full image and slide through the group with a gesture. The feature is rolling out today on iPhone, and is coming soon to Android and twitter.com in the near future.
