Ben and Jerry's ice cream gets locking system

Worried that an unguarded tub of Ben and Jerry's would be munched by his flatmates one concerned reader sent in a request to the ice cream giant to create a stainless steel bulletproof container with a padlock to keep his ice cream safe.

The result is the Euphori-Lock, a device that replaces the lid on a one pint tub of ice cream with a combination lock so prying hands can't get in.

Users can set the lids combination lock and bar actually cutting the tub with a pair of scissors the device looks fairly foolproof.

The Euphori-lock is available from the Ben and Jerry's website for $5.50 (£3)
