Turtle Beach, one of the leaders in game audio, has unveiled the Ear Force Titanfall Atlas headset due out just in time for Titanfall's launch on the Xbox One on 11 March.
The Titanfall Atlas headset boasts high quality sound, so you can hear heavily-armoured, 24-foot titans from across the map. Turtle Beach says it will bring the best audio experience on the market "for fans of Titanfall", and of course, it has some Titanfall style on the exterior as well.
The Titanfall Atlas headset will be available on 7 March in the US and 14 March in the UK, and is the first headset to feature out-of-the-box cross-platform compatibility with Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and mobile platforms. It will be priced at $149.95 in the US and £119.99 in the UK.
Turtle Beach has carved a name for itself on the market as the premiere headset maker. Its headsets are meant to help you pinpoint enemy locations, and stay in clear communication with other gamers as you battle for control of the Frontier. The Atlas headset is wired, and features a removable mic for Xbox One, Skype, and Xbox Live chatting.
For the audio nerds, Turtle Beach has detailed the headset will output a signal to noise ratio of >58dB thanks to 50mm diameter speakers with neodymium magnets. A built-in bass boost is meant to add more punch to the game and a padded headband and breathable mesh ear cups are meant to sit comfortably on your head.
“We are looking forward to working with our retail and distribution partners to support one of the biggest next-gen gaming events of the year,” Bob Picunko, chief marketing officer at Turtle Beach, said.
