Oppo has released the above image, teasing its new Find 7 smartphones for a 19 March reveal. Two screen resolution variations are expected including a 2560 x 1440 option.
Oppo has already teased that its next flagship handset will come using JDI's 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 (538ppi) resolution display. Then a GFXBench result showed an Oppo Find 7 with a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.3 OS.
Engadget's sources confirmed that, as indicated in the picture, there will be more than one Find 7 variant from Oppo. Both 2K and 1080p handset versions are expected to be announced.
This is interesting, as rumours also suggest Samsung might release two versions of the Galaxy S5. Are phone companies following Apple's lead with its dual phone release at two different price points?
More should be revealed on 24 February at Mobile World Congress and then 19 March at Oppo's announcement.
