Bulldog go national with 8Mb broadband

faster broadband nationwide

1 June 2005 17:31 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Bulldog has launched an 8Mb broadband service to almost a third of homes across the UK with no download caps, a selection of price plans and telephone services to suit a range of customer needs.

New customers will be able to buy the 8Mb service for the price of the current 4Mb service, starting from just £15.50 per month. So that customers can try 8Mb broadband and experience the true richness of the online world, Bulldog is offering the first month's broadband service for only £1.

This includes a free modem and is for customers signing up by June 15th 2005. Existing Bulldog customers will automatically get a free upgrade to up to 8 meg.

The ISP isn't the first in the UK, that award goes to UK Online, who started offering 8Mb lines to customers in city centres earlier in the year.
