We've brought you news of the rumoured N96 before when images of the high-end device found their way online, but the latest development is that the phone's specs have been leaked too.

The low-down on the new Nseries model, dubbed the N96 as its presumably the N95's successor, appeared briefly on Nokia's German website.

According to translations of the leaked specs, the N96 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset with 3G HSDPA connectivity, rather excitingly has DVB-H reception (the European standard for digital TV) as well as 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a 5-megapixel camera.

The N96 is said to double the N95's 8GB storage capacity to 16GB of internal memory that's expandable up to 24GB with a microSD card that will be available to buy for an extra £40.

We know Nokia are launching new devices at the Mobile World Congress Event next week, and this is now hotly tipped to be one of the introductions.
