The Pebble smartwatch now has an official appstore in iOS, featuring more than 1,000 apps.
The Pebble appstore has also been released as a beta APK so it should arrive on Android "very soon", Pebble says.
The store is the first time Pebble apps can all be found in one place - previously apps and watch faces were dotted about the place as they cropped up from third-party developers. This appstore works as you would expect, with six categories: Daily, Tools & Utilities, Notifications, Remotes, Fitness and Games.
The Pebble smartwatch can hold up to eight apps at one time.
The launch of the Pebble Steel premium watch should make it a more-attractive option for a wider market. This model still features the low-power E Ink display but also has protective Gorilla Glass on the screen, includes metal and black leather straps in the box, features an LED indicator in the corner and is available now for $249.
