It looks like a 4G LTE version of the LG G Pad 8.3 could be on its way after a model cleared the FCC yesterday.

The tablet, named VK810, made it through the communications regulator, where it was registered as capable of running Verizon 4G LTE. The physical dimensions of the device matched the LG G Pad 8.3. With 4G connectivity the tablet would be connected at high speeds anywhere, making it more of a communication device rather than just a tablet - you could make VoIP calls for example.

While this version appears to be for US network provider Verizon, we'd hope international models will also be following this release. But we're not holding our breath just yet.

Expect the usual LG G Pad 8.3 specs including a Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 4600mAh battery.
