Nokia has just dropped an invitation into our inbox for its Mobile World Congress conference on Monday 24 February at 7:30am (GMT). Nothing is given away but we already have a few expectations for the event.

The flagship revealed should be the Lumia 1820. This is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor backed by a hefty 3GB of RAM. The screen should be dazzling at 5.2-inch with a 2K resolution. It will also cram in a juicy 3400mAh battery and 32GB expandable storage. And, of course, it will have a Xenon flash and the Lytro-like Refocus smarts we've come to expect from top end Lumias.

Nokia, never one to take it easy these days, should also be revealing a new Lumia 1525 phablet. This 6-inch device has had fewer details leaked but we can probably expect similar specs plus a 25/30-megapixel camera. Also, and this sounds a bit of a stretch, it will use solar charging.

Nokia is almost certainly working on some form of Android phone, if the rumour mill is to be believed. We can't think of a better place to unveil that than at MWC. The rumours suggest this new Normandy handset is a budget Android phone that's come from Nokia's old Project N, or Asha on Linux software development. The handset should come with a modified version of Android 4.4.1 KitKat, a 5-megapixel camera and 854 x 540 resolution display.

The other pretty solid rumour is for a Lumia 1520V. This will be a smaller version of the big hit that is the 6-inch Lumia 1520. On the 1520V you can expect a more manageable 4.3-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The 1520V will feature the same quad-core Snapdragon 800 processing power as the 1520. The camera will take a downgrade at 14-megapixels (as opposed to 20-megapixels), but you will get a 3000mAh battery with wireless charging plus Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
