We've just been told by Vodafone that it will be launching the Motorola Moto G with KitKat OS.
Voda usually only lets us know a few days before a launch so, as per Motorola's promise, we'd expect Android KitKat to hit the affordable handset in January.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update has already arrived in the US so the UK is sure to be close behind. We've been invited to a Motorola event on 14 January. While the event contents is still a secret we wouldn't be surprised if that's the date we get the KitKat update for Moto G.
The Motorola event could be the introduction of the wooden Moto X. But with no word on the Moto X hitting the UK we're taking any suggestions that it will be coming to the UK with a pinch of salt.
Check back on 14 January for our coverage from the Motorola UK event.
