Olloclip, the company that makes lens accessories for the iPhone, has announced that it will be making a dedicated lens kit for Apple's tablets: the iPad Air and iPad mini.
The new bolt-on will cost around $70 (£43), be the same as the Olloclip 4-in-1 Olloclip for the iPhone, but adapted to fit the tablet design.
The tiny, pocket-friendly system offers fisheye, wide-angle and 10x and 15x macro lenses all in a slip-on device that you can quickly lose in your jeans pocket.
In talking to the inventor of the lens it's clear that the company was reluctant to empower iPad photographers, but he tells Pocket-lint it's what people want.
The new Olloclip lens will be available in the next two months in the US and the UK.
Meanwhile for iPhone users, the company has also announced a 2x telephoto lens and polarised lens offering for those keen to enhance their iPhone photography without venturing into the need to take macro photographs.
