Samsung has added to its range of tablets with the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro, launched alongside the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 at CES 2014 in Las Vegas.

The Tab Pro will come in a number of different sizes. The largest is 12.2 inches, then a more regular 10.1 incher, followed by the 8.4 inch model, which looks to rival the likes of the LG G Pad 8.3 and the iPad mini.

As this is a regular Galaxy Tab model, it doesn't offer the S Pen that the matching Note Pro models will come with.

The 12.2-inch model comes with a 16:10 aspect LCD display, giving you a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. That's 247ppi. 

Sitting at the heart is a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, offering 4G LTE connectivity, or a 3G version with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chipset. The loadout you'll get will depend on the market you're buying the tablet in. There's 3GB or RAM to keep things racing along.

You get the choice of 32/64GB of internal storage in addition to the microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB cards. There's an 8-megapixel camera around the back, partnered with a 2 megapixel on the front.

There's a 9500mAh battery in the 12.2, which should provide plenty of life.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro 12.2 measures 295.6 x 204 x 7.95mm and will weigh 732g (Wi-Fi) or 740g (LTE), which it pretty heavy to hold one-handed.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 offers the same hardware loadout, with the same 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display, albeit smaller, resulting in a 298ppi pixel density.

It only has 2GB of RAM and the storage options drop down to the choice of 16 or 32GB internal, again, with microSD. There's a 8220mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 measures 243.1 x 171.4 x 7.3mm and weighs 469g (Wi-Fi) or 477g (4G LTE).

The smallest model is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. This also has a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display, so it's going to be really sharp with it's smaller dimensions. You get a pixel density of 359ppi.

There's the same hardware options as the 10.1, with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB internal storage and microSD.

The battery drops to 4800mAh, however, because of the smaller frame which measures 128.5 x 219 x 7.2mm and weighs 331g (Wi-Fi) or 336g (4G LTE).

All these new Galaxy Tab Pro models are said to be launching with Android 4.4 KitKat.
