Asus has publicly outed its VivoTab Note 8 by publishing its manual on the Asus website.

In a rather original move Asus has apparently published the manual on purpose, as it's still available on the Asus site. While this confirms the tablet, and that it's coming to the UK, specs are still not present.

According to a recent FCC leak we can expect the Asus VivoTab Note 8 to come with an Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core CPU backed by 2GB of RAM. The screen will offer a 1280 x 800 resolution (on what we presume is an 8-inch display), a stylus, front and rear cameras, and microSD expansion.

While we're still relying on rumour, the price is expected to be around the $300 (£181) mark.

We should see the Asus VivoTab Note 8 revealed officially at CES next week.
