LG to show off 4K monitors and UltraWide displays at CES

LG is set to unveil new monitors at CES including a 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide screen and a 31-inch Real 4K display.

The LG 21MU95 will be showing off Real 4K while the Colour Prime 27MB85 aims to dazzle with, you guessed it, colours a plenty.

The Real 4K monitor is a 31-inch IPS display that kicks out 4096 x 2160 resolution. This crazy-high resolution will be aimed at professionals working in design, film and other creative industries. But we imagine plenty of gamers will have their eyes on this too.

The ColourPrime monitor will come sporting speedy Thunderbolt 2 along with LG True Colour Pro calibration. That means it has the ability to express 99 per cent of the Adobe RGB colour spectrum.

LG will also be showing off a 21:9 UltraWide QHD display that is better than HD. It will deliver a resolution of 3440 x 1440 while also displaying in 21:9 aspect ratio - ideal for designers.

Pricing and release dates haven’t been announced but expect to hear more from CES in January.
