Razer Comms app lets you message and call between PCs and Android phones, while gaming

Pausing your game to make a call just isn’t streamlined enough as far as Razer is concerned. So it’s expanded its Razer Comms app to Android mobiles to allow gamers to make and receive calls while gaming,  as well as send and read messages to and from Android phones and PCs.

PC gamers can now call or message mates from within the game without even needing to alt-tab it. But what’s really nice is the ability to check messages and reply all from within the PC software, without needing to even pick up your mobile or tablet. And when out and about you’re not disconnected as the app will work anywhere there’s a connection.

“Staying connected in today's world has become increasingly important and gamers are no exception to that,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. “Razer Comms solves that by being the world's first VoIP solution to allow gamers to make VoIP calls or instant message with their friends on the road from in-game and vice versa.”

Razer Comms is available for Android now and an iOS version is planned for release in early 2014.
