Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One to land on 24 December, with Xbox 360 version coming in January
Microsoft has announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will land for Xbox One on Christmas Eve.
Halo: Spartan Assault is a 2013 top-down third-person shooter video game, part of the Halo franchise, and it first released in July 2013 for Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. It will be available for Xbox One on 24 December as a digital download priced at £11.99.
Gamers who buy the title for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 before 15 December can get the Xbox One version at the discounted price of £3.99. For that price, they'll get access to a range of features exclusive to the new Xbox version.
Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One uniquely features native 1080p resolution, 60 fps frame rate, an online cooperative mode, and the "Operation Hydra” expansion pack add-on. Other highlights include an immersive storyline and new enemies, weapons and achievements.
