Catcha Beast lets you reel it in

And you thought fishing was boring

Ban Dai is hoping to enthral kids with a high tech version of fishing this Christmas with Catcha Beast.

The game, yet another craze that finds itself coming from Japan, will involve users have to search their location to find monsters to catch.

Once found, you have to reel them in to catch them. There are, according to Ban Dai over 100 creepy crawlies to catch and you can save them up, train them up and then take them into battle against each other, a bit like its other Japanese licence Pokemon.

Ensuring your little ones will be begging you to for the next 10 months they will be able to connect to a friend's Catcha Beast to swap and exchange monsters.

Expect to pay around £14.99 when they come out later in the year.
