Apple offers better Black Friday sale deals to the UK than the US

If you were ever considering buying an Apple iPad, today is the day to do it. Apple has cut its prices for Black Friday and is offering better deals in the UK than in the US.

While the UK can pick up an iPad Air for £368 (saving £31) the US has to settle for vouchers. Whereas Americans have to pay the full $499 price and will receive a $75 Apple Store Gift Card. Sure, if you’re buying something else this is good but if you’re not then it’s a big chunk to pay up front.

The US Apple store is also offering $150 vouchers if you buy a Mac and $50 if you buy an iPod. Whereas the UK has slashed prices so the MacBook Air, whatever spec you go for, is £81 cheaper and an iPod Touch is £25 cheaper.

The UK deals also stretch to other parts of the store. An Apple TV is now £85 (down from £99), a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition is £284 (down from £320), and a Bower & Wilkins A5 AirPlay Wireless Music System is £328 (down from £400), to name but a few.
