Pocket-lint Gadget Awards 2013 winners announced
With just one more month to go, 2013 has been crammed with so many exciting gadget launches that it was truly difficult to whittle it down to the very best of the very best. But thanks to the Pocket-lint team, a collected panel of elite industry experts, other tech journalism peers and you, dear reader, we have managed it.
Here are the products in each of the most important gadget categories that we all combined to choose as our absolute favourites. We have a laptop, cameras, a phone and a phablet. There are headphones, portable speakers, a TV, a tablet and wearable tech that we wouldn't mind strapping to one of our extremities. And there's a game that we don't mind admitting has taken up a lot of our spare time this year.
In short, if you haven't checked out any of the winners of the Pocket-lint Gadget Awards 2013, you blinking well should. We've all come together to have our democratic say and you can't argue with the voice of the masses.
You might notice another award at the end too, the overall best product of 2013. To be eligible to win this particular award, a product had to have already won one of the individual categories. Then, all the votes were totted up and the scores where divided on an even split, with the products then awarded a percentage. The highest percentage won. The best product therefore is exactly that.
So, without further ado, the winners of the Pocket-lint Gadget Awards 2013 are:
