Launch day is almost here, and we've managed to bag a Day One Edition Xbox so those of you who have ordered it, or not, can see what you get in the special limited-edition box.

The console is identical, and the box, which you'll no doubt chuck in the loft the moment you open it, is special but nothing memorable.

The Day One console includes a commemorative controller, token code to unlock an exclusive Day One achievement, and premium packaging at no additional cost.

We've been sent the Forza Day One pack, which includes a digital copy of the game, including a special Day One track pack - we are still downloading to find out what that includes.

The achievement, which is made incredibly easy to collect thanks to just showing the Kinect a code, is basic, but is good at showing your mates you are dedicated to the cause.

The real bragging rights here though go to the Day One controller. It is the same as the standard controller except for the words Day One 2013 in between the d-pad and the control stick showing you just how cool you are.

It looks good.
