WEBSITE OF THE DAY – findsounds.com

Crash, bang, wallop what a sound source!

30 January 2008 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

Yesterday we helped to find songs you wanted to listen to. But what if your tastes are a little more eclectic.

FindSounds is search engine for sound effects available anywhere on the net and given just a few random examples it came up trumps every time.

Dogs barking, glass smashing, submarine diving – you name it this will find it and find it whatever format and sound quality you specify.

Check out their Palette too – a useful addition to anybody’s aural arsenal.

I now have positively the most irritating message alert on my mobile.
