Get the A to Z on your mobile

Paid-for map downloads

29 January 2008 17:24 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Billadam has launched the "AZ Finder" that they claim is the first mobile service that puts the traditional A to Z map, as a download, on your mobile phone.

When users type in the required London street on the AZ Finder wap site (www.azfinder.mobi) or website (www.azfinder.co.uk) they then receive a detailed 1 kilometre squared downloadable map of the area on their mobile phone.

The service costs £1 for 5 map downloads and each map will remain in the user's mobile phone for a maximum of 24 hours.
