Hitachi's new "W61H" handset ain't-never-gonna launch in the UK, but we still thought it worth a mention for its striking looks. As well as all the other tech-spec that's de rigeur for a phone in Japan, it boasts an interesting 2.7-inch e-ink display they call the "Silhouette Screen".
With e-ink having such low power demands, it means the phone can display one of 95 available graphic patterns on the outer shell without a dent to the mobile's battery.
