Xbox Snap: Microsoft demos how to multitask on Xbox One

Microsoft has just shown off another feature buried with the Xbox One, and it's called Xbox Snap.

When the Xbox One launches in less than two weeks, Microsoft wants you to know all the ins and outs, tips and tricks, etc, and it is demonstrating these features with brief how-to videos. The latest video is all about Xbox Snap, a new feature that enables multitasking on the Xbox One.

Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi explained how to use Snap while - for instance - racing in Forza Motorsport 5. With just a few common voice commands, any gamer can momentarily pause their game and launch Internet Explorer, ESPN, friends lists' activity feed and more. All of this will appear along the right side of the screen, next to the paused game.

The demonstration suggested that Xbox Snap will work without a hiccup or any lag, but who knows if that's really true. We'll all get to see for ourselves come 22 November, when the Xbox One will finally release in North America and many European markets.
